A.G.A.P.E. Love Step Team
The AGAPE LOVE Step Team highlights the impact that teamwork, perseverance, and dedication can have on young minds through its community step program. This program teaches students the art form of stepping, a worldwide dance style with deep roots in South Africa’s gumboot era of the 1800s. Dancers explore the rich history of step through fun and interactive choreography workshops, which strengthen each individual’s hand-eye coordination, movement retention skills, and musicality. Participants learn how to provide and receive constructive criticism, uphold the responsibility of being a member of a team, and establish and maintain business etiquette through community-based performance opportunities. Our model encourages leadership and creativity, with a strong emphasis on facilitating student-led events and peer mentorship. Link arms with us at Crowned Coast 2 Coast, as we prepare to STEP into the 2024-2025 season together!
